Roland Fantom X8 is just awesome. If I had this keyboard, ov korpse 's sound would be expanded much more. I cant even imagine...There 're loads of great sounds. However, this jem costs around 3G New. A mint one may cost you 2G or less. It depends on your luck and the person who would want to part with may need money quick. So be patient and keep looking, dont rush yourself even though you really want to get it. You would want to play around prior to buying it. It may not work for you but it absolutely works for me. I have been keeping my eyes on it for a couple of years. Anyway, all my gears 're used but well taken care of. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who 's really into any kinda music but this is an amazing synth to make noise. I did a few short ones at Sam Ash. Go there, and have some fun. I just love it!
I have had a few people asking me about my sound. Everybody works in different ways, and set up. I have been experiencing sounds for more than 13 years. I found any kinda sound could make good noise. It takes time to practice and trying. Getting the unique sound no other has seems impossible but the way to set up or u chain up your gears could make your sound "unique". It takes patient and hard work but you 'll have some good lessons after a lot of screw up.
All the Ov Korpse 's sound 's not been composed on computer. Every track 's from my 3 analog synths, 6 circuit bent gears, effects racks, and many guitar effects pedals. The output is from 2 full stacks of my marshall amp and one half stack.
I found the Boss PW-2 power drive is so useful.... you may not like it but it works extremely well with me if you get the proper setup. Also, Boss Metal Zone.... Boss DD-20... Boss HM-2.... Boss Hyper Metal and Boss DD-5. I have not tried the Boss New Metal Core.... but it 's so expensive now. Those 're really great ones !!!
